Re: mid engine car started
some updated pics. i took a break for a while. i used the b2 steering servo saver with screws from a RC10 GT to mount it and a low profile servo saver. I went w/ a viper body that i had to do some modifications to in order to make it fit. It'll probably look better w/ the spoiler and some paint.

mounting wing on rear shock tower?
i've seen some pics where the rear wing is mounted on the shock tower instead of using the aluminum tubes. the metal wire from the wing is put into a small metal piece that screwed into one of the shock mounts and held in place by a little set screw. this look really good b/c the wing doesn't have t...

Re: mid engine car started
This is almost the exact car i wanted to build if i won it :D . I always wanted the Houge Enterprise chassie with slots to build a mid engine rc10, they are so much cooler then the tekin kit in my opinion. Good job, can't wait to see it when it is finished, let us know how it runs! i'll keep you up...

actually, i've been using a futaba s3003 and that's even slower so is there any other reason it couldn't be used?

Re: mid engine car started
i just bought the plastic b3 servo saver kit. i found a post on here where someone used that and the screws from a rc10gt to mount it. it looks like that will work, i'm just not sure if the srcew w/ the spring on it is going to be too tall to put a regular buggy cover on. i guess i'll just have to d...

Re: mid engine car started

what body do you have on that car that fits w/ the servo standing up like that? it kind of looks like a grasshopper.

how would you have mounted the servo if you wanted to use all of the battery slots and what would you have used to hold the batterys down?

Re: mid engine car started
its just about done. i just need a new battery cup on the drivers side so the battery won't shoot out when i make a right turn and i need to find a body for it and put the rest of the electronics in.
