Quick update - shapeways GB received a few weeks ago, bearings last week. Put it all together in a messy saturday morning. Finished product is not as pristine as the shining examples in this thread.... but the GB came together really well, and the 35 year old gears mesh better than ever. Charging ye...

Finally got the replacement corrected gearbox half from Shapeways and it's a perfect fit now , the designer was a really genuine guy .
