You want Kyosho #FZ13. #39509 is the hardened steel version but it’s expensive if you can find it. While I await my need diff, could I pick your brains on a 2 speed kit. Used to one available AGW2 (I think), now discontinued, any idea if one from another car would fit? Might as well order some new ...

I’ve ordered one from either Spain or Italy, can’t remember which, cost about £25 including delivery, hopefully it’ll be here in a week.

Looking at the manual.. I think it does have the same diff as the normal Pureten, which is also used in the Nitro/EV Blizzards. They list the FZW-13 & FZW-15 hardened steel bevel/spider gears as an optional upgrade which confirms some interchangeability. Do you need the diff ring/crown gear or ...

It’s shaft drive (4wd).
It has a GX15 nitro engine.

Alpha/pureten Differential

I found my old Kyosho Alpha at the back of the garage a couple of weeks ago. it was last ran 15+yrs ago and has been in a box since I clipped a curb breaking the rear diff casing and suspension arm. I ordered the bits and started stripping the car, it now looks like the differential itself is broken...
