They have both needed parts (OT250 and OT251) in stock now on the Kyosho America website.

I agree that the track in Tallahassee is tough on vintage cars. I am north of you in South Georgia and I wish there was a better option around the region.

Is a Turbo Scorpion rere wing mount a direct fit for the missing mount?

I am seeing the Javelin re-re roll cages on Ebay. I see 4 colors (orange, green, white, and yellow). Has anyone bought one and tried to fit it onto a vintage Optima/Javelin? Does it fit? I assume it doesn't in the back, but how much modification is needed? Thanks!

Please help me identify these vintage A&L steering kits. I believe one for the Ultima and one for the Optima Mid? Which one is which? Or, is one for the RC10?

MugenBulldog is correct. There are issues you will encounter that are not in the manuals that come with the car. There is a "Technical Guide" free in pdf from Kyosho that I have had to go to several times. I have it printed out now.

Kyosho recently released the VE (lipo and brushless) version of the mini-z buggy. I see it is available in Japan right now. This is something I may go for and pass the old one to my daughter. Did anyone get one for Christmas? The VE is chassis only, but I would make sure to the Optima body on it.

I am really hoping for a Javelin rollcage and the Ultima. I wonder if they will do Turbo variants for the Optima and Ultima?

That is good to know, thanks. So, I would need to get a re-re gearbox, gears, and slipper to upgrade the gearbox with the new parts. I see the parts around, but that would be three different purchases and it adds up. I am really hoping they re-release the Javelin. I would use the gearboxes and gears...

Isn't this asking about putting the new 2016 Optima gears (and chain or belt) into an original Optima? I am interested in this as well. What parts (specifically for belt drive) would drop into an Optima runner? Has anyone done this?
