Re: Differentiating the optimas
I just remember the Turbo Optima being a real pain to work on. Those chassis side plates made it difficult to work on quickly. After I sold it to a friend, he added Trinity graphite chassis plates and it got even worse! I still have the Trinity rear shock tower, I think. My real question is about be...

Re: - 4wd Custom Works Dominator -
Doesn't look like you need any parts, but I bought one from a guy who drilled a thousand holes in nearly every part to lighten things up. I cut the chassis for raw materials back in my scratch-building days, but still have most of the components... that I have NO use for. Gotta wonder why the second...

Re: ** LIVE Vintage Nationals Coverage **
Anybody else wish for vintage diameter wheels/tires? It's cool and all, but these cars don't look old. They're a little hard to tell from modern ones.
Molds for tires that size couldn't be more than a few hundred dollars. What about making some Fuzzies to fit old-school rims?

Re: Another vintage RPS Yokomo
The scan of the decals is up over in the 'scans' section. I also have the RCCA review and I thought I'd scan it, but somebody beat me to it. Anybody have thoughts on finding rear suspension arms? At worst, molds could be made and new parts poured. I doubt the demand is there to cover the costs... (d...

RPS Yokomo SE decal set
I scanned the original decal set from my SE kit, as requested. I hope that these help folks out. I had to reduce the image size to get it to upload. If you'd like it full-size, 300dpi, let me know and I can send it directly. The original sheet is 127 x 210.5 mm I helped you, now you help me find som...

Another vintage RPS Yokomo
I thought I'd share this with folks. I didn't preserve my original RPS Yokomo SE. Being a stupid kid, I didn't think about taking care of stuff. Luckily, I did buy this extra kit back around '89 from a shop in NY state. It sat around and the shop decided to sell a few parts out of the kit. I bought ...
