Re: Project idea for Doc?

why not convert the mugen to brushless? bigger wheels, stronger parts, sounds perfect for a bmx track, especially compared to a 1/10th vintage buggy. I really like the size 0f 10th. 8th is cool too but I like smaller rides. I wouldn't want to waste the time converting it. Cleaning it to sell as we ...

Re: Project idea for Doc?

LOL, I am betting so. I have a Mugen 1/8 Nitro that I could use but I really don't like Nitro too much. I have not run it much. Hmmm, need to sell that now that I think about it. A BMX track is the closest thing I have to track/dirt fun other than camping and trail running which is boring. I am not ...

Re: Project idea for Doc?

Can a xxx4 handle the lipo/brushless combo?

I really just want a fast and semi-controllable buggy that I can thrash on the local BMX track or the streets when bored.

Re: Cougar 2 Works differences?

My US Works Cougar came with no roller shafts. I guess Stormer Hobbies back in the day didn't want to tell me that when I ordered..............

Project idea for Doc?

Hey guys, I have an odd question but thought I would ask you all what YOU think I should do here. Basically I want a buggy that I can run for the fun of it. I have all of my shelf queens and kings but I want a runner. I would love to know what Losi you all think I should build that can handle a brus...

Re: Buying a PS3, tips?

Just so you know, 11/24/10 is the official date from Polyphony. GT5 will be here next week!

I ordered the collector's set with the extras and I don't even own a PS3, lol.

Re: hollywood blockbuster "inception"

Don't know why anyone has not commented?! I saw it opening night in an IMAX and I was blown away. I left the theater like I did in 1998 (Matrix), simply stunned. I am not easy to please, ask my wife, and we both were simply exhausted after Inception. I plan on seeing it again this weekend. It is mos...

Re: Ducati Riders?

Before I got the Z1000, I had a GS500. I love the look of that Sucati :?: Duzuki :?: I bet that's fun to explain to the insurance guy or DMV. Explain what?! lol I just renewed it and they asked if I had modified it. I said I bought new tires, lol. The project was dubbed the "Suzati".

Re: Ducati Riders?

I have a half Suzuki-Ducati, lol. This last winter I hacked up my 500 and put a GSXR 600 front end and a Ducati Monster back half on. That and about enough other stuff to buy a real Ducati. Thing handles like you wouldn't believe!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v316/bluej/Suzati%20Build/004jpg-1...

Nice pics! I was in Tampa for work back in January and drove up to Daytona for the Rolex. Great race. That reminds me, I need to hang that Rolex banner I scammed off that bar owner, lol.

Re: Never seen this before?! 3 Losi rebuilds at once! JRX-T Fin

Where did you end up getting the small white Team Losi decals? http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=12827 They were original from an old Losi sheet. Still need a couple above the JRXT on the doors though. Also need to paint the number plates and the dirt shields as well. But that is all...
