Re: -Custom Sand Rail RC10-
I've looked at this tuber so many times I can't even remember how many times. This is one of the coolest cars I've ever seen. I just love it. That's all I have to say!

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?
I can wait til august or september for my kit, but i want to see pics of this damn thing! I agree, I'm over the moon at the prospect that I may get to open a new box of the original. It may sound funny, but my first RC10 came from Tower Hobbies in the 90s and it was the CE. I thought it was going t...

I look forward to reruns of tires that I can put on these old rims I have lying around. Dry rot has lost it's luster if you know what I mean.

@badhoopty, that car is a work of art my friend. Simply amazing and gives myself a distant target to shoot for. It's really a beautiful build and I can't say enough about it.

Re: Super Champ Survivor
Awesome find, I need to check my local Craigslist. It cleaned up really well. I agree it is screaming for some aluminum wheels.

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?
I'm just going to say I'm pumped to say the least. Tower has always been great about honoring orders that I've made for at least 15 years. I have faith that things will be fine. The RC10 for me was the holy grail of cars as a kid and when I did find the cash to buy my first I was beyond pleased. I a...

Re: Problems with my Novak 410 M1 esc
Teman, thanks for the visual. Gomachv, I fear the old esc is shot maybe. I can't get the motor to stop with the pots and like I have mentioned the motor is going full blast when I plug it to the esc, regardless if the esc is on or not. The nice thing is seeing the motor actually topping out though. ...

Re: Problems with my Novak 410 M1 esc
I did the old solder trick and it worked like a champ for a sec then the solder melted off as I was trying to do a full calibration. It's been a pretty frustrating little thing, but I'm sure I'll get it whipped. I'm also getting very sporadic signal activity. When the new solder joint was created ev...

Re: Problems with my Novak 410 M1 esc
Iirc the "fuse " on that is a solder pop. You just jumper the legs with a blob of solder. A diode may cause problems. Great info. So should I solder the legs together then, is that what you meant by jumper? And as to the solder pop I've heard of this but wasn't quite sure what was meant. ...

Re: Problems with my Novak 410 M1 esc
Okay switched the plug in and no change, swiitched the receiver still the same response. I even put a new plug on the esc to the receiver. It's very glitchy acting. Sometimes it's just starts without even giving it throttle. I'm not completely sure, but maybe the fact that these early esc models say...

Re: Problems with my Novak 410 M1 esc
Lone star, thanks for the reply I'll try receiver switch and plug in switch as well. I'll post results shortly.
