Re: Help identifying this body
Just when I thought I was getting knowledgable about this hobby, then I read jcwrks post and had no idea what a Raborn slider was. A little forum searching and googling and now I know more that I did this morning! Unfortunately no Raborn products on this car that I know of. Most of the car upgrades ...

Re: Help identifying this body
Thanks for identifying it @Dangeruss. Any idea when it came out or what year that catalog/ad was from?

Help identifying this body
Does anyone know what this body is? I have not been able to identify yet. It was part of a hopped up RC10 Team Car I bought from someone on FB Marketplace. He built the car up in the early 90's. A lot of RPM upgrades, including the worlds front end. I think the faux air flow vents on the rear are pr...

Re: Worlds Car Graphite Shock Tower Variations?
Ha! I love it. There is no way in a thousand years that the folks back in the day at Team Associated would have thought 35 years from now people will be scrutinizing the production variations and revisions to their parts in an effort to put together period correct cars to display on a shelf.

Re: Worlds Car Graphite Shock Tower Variations?
Thanks jcwrks . I'm pretty sure I bought the all black ones as NOS in bags, so unless glue or black marker was done at the factory, I don't think that was it. Upon close inspection under magnification I can see there is definitely a core. I suspect the core may be black G10. It also looks like the b...

Worlds Car Graphite Shock Tower Variations?
I'm working on two worlds car builds, an early with black/white parts and a late all black. I have two versions of shock towers. One looks laminated with a white/neutral fiberglass core and black graphite outer layers. The other has a black core or may be solid graphite. I've seen photos of the whit...

Help identifying this on-road car
I got this car as part of a lot. I have no experience with on-road cars...yet. Can someone help me identify this model so I can search for manuals? It has some Team Associated gold anodized screws, but I could not find an Associated chassis that looks like this one. Any help would be appreciated. PX...

Re: Andy's RC10 Monster Truck Conversion Kit Part Numbers
Thanks for the info. I did discover there is another MT front body mount part, 3420. The 3407 part mounts to the front nose plate and front suspension mounts in front of the shock tower. 3420 slides onto the nose tubes. I purchased a 3407 not knowing that I really wanted a 3420. Now I will have one ...

Andy's RC10 Monster Truck Conversion Kit Part Numbers
Does anyone know the part numbers for the items in this kit? I'm specifically looking for the correct rear body mount. I don't know if it is 3417 or 3418 or something else? For documentation purposes I would like to know the part numbers for the other items in the kit. The instructions posted in the...

Original Worlds Car Wheel Color
Were the wheels on the original World's Car fluorescent yellow or standard yellow? In most pictures of original cars, they look like plain yellow, but I'm not sure if that is due to aging. Pictures of the World's Re-Re look fluorescent.
