Hey Reg your car looks great.

Here is the original inside scoop of my car. Still have the basics just needs to be refinished. Have the body too. Raced at the 1995 Worlds in Japan.

Re: 1993 Cactus Classic

Thats funny. Totally forgot my RC10 made the magazine. Thats my Black/Blue/Dayglow Red/White body. That was always a fun race. Loved that paint scheme. Used it when I went to Losi too and Korts copied it with yellow in place of red. And I finished 6th in 2whl mod.

Re: Brian Kinwald RC10TALK memory present, last update!

Don't forget the bending of the rear part of the chassis behind the suspension mounts. That is why the 3rd hole in the back of the chassis. drilled through and tapped the motor place to secure it. bends up to just below the motor. easiest way to match his set up would be with #1 pistons with 30wt oi...

Re: Cliff Lett's 1990 ROAR National's Winning RC10 Replica

I was in Cliff's heat at that race. Missed the A by like 1 second. This litte brat named Brian Kinwald knocked me out...lol. That race was the first time anyone ran foam in the X patterns. We all got our Stealth Transmissions right before the race. One of my parts boxes is still my original stealth ...

Re: KORTZ circa '93~94

I build Jeremy's Yokomo for that Reedy Race 1994. Jr built his XX. Jeremy had never raced 4whl before that race. He pretty much smoked everyone. Darn kid copied my bodies too. Pretty good times with him then. That is the race I cut the lips off of the wheels to widen the tires for better grip like t...

Re: JRX series set up discussion

I remember when I got my first production JRX and Rick Hohwart still had his Prototype and hadn't gotten the new produciton parts yet. We were at the Regionals in AZ 1988 Region 12 if I remember. Not sure if it changed or not. It was the qualifier for the 1989 Worlds. We were cleaning our cars and I...

I have a chassis from the '93 Worlds with the sticker glued and the chassis bent. As soon as I figure out how to post pics in here I will show them.

Re: Ruffy's '93 Worlds car and other vintage items

Hey Ruffy where did they put the sticker on your '93 Worlds car? Most were by the servo but didn't see yours. Did your chassis get bent up like the others by Cliff or Curtis?

Re: 1993 Brian Kinwald Replica (last update 12/12/2009)

To give you a little insight to the one screw in the back of Brian's chassis. Cliff and Curtis bent the chassis behind the rear suspension mounts as close as possible to the motor to give the car more ground clearence at the back of the car to keep from catching the ruts. That's why the one screw. B...

Re: The Rarest RC10?

I have my original prototype B2 that I built for the worlds that needs to be fully restored. It was the one in the Car Action that they used for spy shots. I need to scan the page and post when I figure that out.

Re: Hirosaka's Stealth RC10 used in Australia & Detroit Worl

The original car for the 1989 worlds had shorter shocks. Jay Halsey made the long shock tower and put the long shocks on first after he got the car for testing so then they made shock towers and shocks for everyone.
