Re: So, what did you do RC today?
This puts the slash to shame in my experience. Best RTR SCT on the market. Just don't get it tangled up with a Slash. While faster, a SC10 looks a little fragile when compared to a Slash (especially a beefed up one). The Slashes are 2WD rentals mostly. The Pro4 SC10 is basically a stretched chassis...

Re: Pro4 SC10 - been craving a basher truck
I got out to the park today for some dirt bashing and had a blast. The tires were manageable though not ideal for the loose, sandy desert dirt I was running in. I was able to get some air jumping in and out of a dry wash and power slide in the flats. With a 2S shorty lipo it wasn't wildly tail happy...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
That's the consensus from all the the reviews I've seen too. So far it's a total beast on pavement. I've got two batteries charging and will head out to the park for more bashing this afternoon.Brendan2904 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 11:18 am This puts the slash to shame in my experience. Pro4 SC10 - been craving a basher truck
I love my buggies but I've been wanting a bashable truck for a while now. Something I can take out to a park that is rugged and has a sealed driveline and can also bash around with Slashes at the track. I considered building a kit, maybe Tekno truck, or picking up a Typhon buggy but I didn't want to...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I drove over 190 miles round trip to pick up this:
The Associated Pro4 SC10.
I needed something bashable that can also hang with the Traxxas slash at the track.

Associated should give one of these to Wheelie Yellow, just to see what he'd do with it.

Re: Starting my RC10L rebuild
A little progress. The Belleville washers arrived. The diff got fresh carbide balls and is nice and smooth. For the moment I'm treating with old connectors and batteries, but I'll swap over to lipos and decent connectors soon. 20250411_001818.jpg I'll probably mount the lipo battery on the left side...

Black springs front and rear for my Team Car and Belleville washers for my RC10L rebuild.

Re: Starting my RC10L rebuild
While I'm waiting on parts to arrive does anyone have advice on mounting shorty lipo packs on the RC10L chassis? I might go with a velcro battery strap looped through the old saddle pack holes, if I can get it tight enough to secure the battery and it doesn't drag on the pavement.

Re: FAN RC Worlds Kit - Blue or White / Black?
If you dig the blue, get the blue, otherwise I can't see much functional difference between the kits.
Personally I'd go with the black and white kit or perhaps just buy the Racer's kit which comes with no chassis and build up an aluminum Worlds car replica.

Re: ReRe rear dogbones popping out
Since I've posted all the expensive solutions I should at least offer some cheap and easy solutions. It's probably cheapest to just limit shock travel and suspension arm droop a bit more instyead of hunting for longer CVDs and coversions. One way would be to add more spacers in the shock or lengthen...

Re: ReRe rear dogbones popping out
That washer fix for the 4wd was perfect. Now I am working on the Team ReRe and there is nothing that can fix this that I can figure out. It needs longer dog bones. I was able to solve the problem with my Team Gold Re-Release by using 1/4" fuel tubing as a spacer undre the piston on the shock s...

Re: Starting my RC10L rebuild
https://hobbyhobby.com/8213-differential-thrust-cone/asc8213/10060/ They show them in stock at least, at a decent price. Good luck with the build! I love building pan cars! Just so simple and to the point! :D Thanks! They had a few other parts I'd been hunting for as well. Grabbing 5 or 6 parts at ...

Re: Starting my RC10L rebuild
Can anyone recommend a good source for part 8213, the Belleville washers used in the axle? Part 4737 seems to have different dimensions and the only things I can find on ebay are 5369 which was for the RC500 and 3435 which looks right but was a single washer for the RC12L.
