Re: Starting a YS 61S heli
I'd see if you can get a prop put on that thing, you can then use a "chicken stick" to flip it over. I've never had luck with a drill. You will need a starter and a wand once it's in the heli anyway, might be a good time to invest in one if you plan on running the heli. If you're just try...

Starting a YS 61S heli
Is it possible to start a ys61st helicopter motor by hand? The motor is out of the helicopter and mounted to a table. I can get the motor to pop, flame up, backfire, dump out fuel, and pop repeatedly by hand but It just won't pop off and run. I've used a 20v Dewalt drill to spin the shaft with much ...

is it a gs11 or gs15
Can someone help me with this...Is this the Gs15R or the GS11R. The manual shows the GS15R with a air mixture adjustment. But I dont have one. The GS11R doesnot have the air mixture adjustment. However the head looks the same as the GS15R head, touch start was on GS15R. this motor came out of either...

help starting OS Max
I have a old OS Max CZ with BH under the mount. I believe it came from an old Rampage gp10. The pullstart works fine with the glow plug removed but when the glowplug is installed the pull start will not wind back up unless i turn the flywheel by hand to rewind the rope.

Re: The Ultimate Driver "Kyosho Outlaw Rampage Truck"
A couple of weeks ago a guy had this kit on ebay. Still brand new in the box and even had a new aftermarket stabilizer bar for this truck. I had the guy send me a few extra pics and sure enough it was a complete unopened kit. I kicked my self in the A$$ for not bidding on it. I thought it would sell...

Re: YS Engine Head
Anyone ever seen this before? Is this caused by a bad head gasket? How long since that thing had been run? To me, that looks like loose head bolts + water ingression = rusty bolts and "staining" of the aluminum. The portions that are not stained were where the bolts were tight and the sea...

Re: YS Engines site legit? Order from Japan?
The site was legit. They sent me a Pic of the package addressed to me when it shipped via air mail. Shipping wasn't much longer than normal shipping. The cost of the part plus shipping is cheap enough that I don't mind waiting a day or 3 longer. The listed price for a YS 61 ST2 cylinder head is 2,80...

YS Engines site legit? Order from Japan?
So long story short I need some parts for a vintage YS helicopter engine. Ive found this site https://www.yspower.co.jp/en/index.html and requested a couple of parts and they sent me a invoice for something like 2,400 YEN. Has anyone ever ordered from this site before? 2,400 YEN is only like $16 whi...

Normal engine sound?
OS Max CZ from a GP10 Rampage buggy. Is the sound in this video a normal engine sound? This is the link to the video that I uploaded to My Google Drive. Thank you.

Re: Help identifying
Thank you. It seems to be in good condition. All the servos work, haven't been able to run the engine yet, need some fresh fuel and currently just getting fuel for my vehicle is a major task. Bummer, was hoping to have some entertainment while waiting for the power to be restored.

Truck looks awesome. I've got one my father purchased for me when they came out. Did yours have the body or did you purchase a body? If so where? I need a body for mine.

I bought this a few years back for some parts for my outlaw rampage truck. It included another roller that I've used for parts so I'm not going to cannibalize this one. I think it's the Rampage GP10 buggy but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm that's what it is or what it is if it's not the GP10? Than...
