Re: Trinity Revolver 12 Magic Carpet Ride

I finished up this build today by adding an Airtronics 94143 servo, Novak Hammer Pro esc & Polaris receiver, and a Trinity Championship mod motor & Ex-Tech 1700 SCRC cells. I drilled the Protoform Nissan P-35 body and shortened the front body posts slightly. I believe this body was painted b...

I'm going with a Novak Hammer Pro & Polaris, Trinity Championship mod & either Pushed P-170's or Ex-Tech 1700 SCRC's and an Airtronics 94143 servo.

Re: Trinity Revolver 12 Magic Carpet Ride

Is that shock in the front to make the bracing between left an right sides adjustable stiffness? Tuned flex? That is an awesome 12th scale. I honestly don't know much about the design aspect of the front suspension. But there are spacers on the kingpins where springs would normally go on a regular ...

Trinity Revolver 12 Magic Carpet Ride

I've wanted one of these for a long time and finally found one that wasn't in the best condition. But I tore it down to clean the rusty hardware and removed super glue globs that were on and around the edge of the chassis. I added new body posts, Magic spur gear, fiberglass rollover antenna, purple ...

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It means a lot because this is something that I'm proud of and wanted to do for many years.

Maybe next year I'll actually enter an RC10.

Re: New RC12LW Graphite

Another awesome job! I'm kinda weird, I like the 32 pitch spurs on those. Not as practical for racing, but I like the look of it. Very nice! 8) Thanks! I like the 32-pitch gears on the 12e and 12i, and even the 12L. But I think the newer cars need 48 or 64-pitch to look correct. But that's just my ...

Re: New RC12LW Graphite

Do all of your awesome builds get their own electronics? If so, then you must have the world supply of Novak servos. I try to use different electronics in each one, but sometimes it isn't always possible. I had to take the Rx pack out of my Dominator and the motor out of my Hurricane to put in the ...

Thanks man! I've been focusing more on early 90's pan cars and less on most everything else.

New RC12LW Graphite

I always wanted a fiberglass 12L as a kid but no tracks in my area raced 1/12 scale. Fast forward about 25 years and I finally picked up a sealed 12LW graphite kit. I need a 64-pitch spur and to trim a body and it will be finished. - RCPS titanium steering kit - Novak 410-HPc, NER-3FM, NES-1A & ...

This is awesome! It was shown in an RCCA Buyer's Guide but I've never actually seen one. I sent you a PM about it.

This is my Trinity Evolution 10 box art replica that I've wanted to build since I first saw it and the magazine ad about 30 years ago. It's about as accurate as I could make it but has a few minor differences. The box art car has many small differences from a built kit, including a Losi battery cup,...

Re: Kranzel Terminator (2.25)

As for a body I’m definitely down with it being an late model… Any suggestions LTO_Dave ?? Also I’m really on the fence when it comes to wheels and tires. All the DO car pics I’ve been going over are either smooth foams, cut (grooved) foams or Schumacher mini pin. I like them all ! I would sa...

Re: Kranzel Terminator (2.25)

That's one oval car I still need to track down. I can honestly say I have never seen any photos of original Terminators set up as late models...they're always EDM's. Seeing that flyer was really cool! Does it have Houge steering? It looks to have a Barracuda slipper eliminator too, which is fitting ...
