Man, how do you find scores like that?
I've got a really nice Jrx-2 5 link shelf queen (ebay), but really want a "runner" and I see nothing but junk, or really overpriced stuff on ebay.

Re: REPRO JRX2 BODIES!!!
Ah, good point!
(was still holding out hope for finding a decent body on an cheap ebay runner/beater
)
and being as though there's only 2 people to get them from, what other option is there...... even if they weren't that durable?[/quote]

Re: repro jrx2 gear covers
both of my cars need one too...saw some in a parts lot on ebay, but didn't want to pay for all the other stuff I didn't need.
Does anyone know if there a part that is close enough to mod for a runner? Maybe a xx or xxx or RC10 B2/B3/B4 part?

Re: JRX2 lower rear shock ends
My shelf queen has one damaged end, cosmetically OK but not OK to run.
Do think there would be enough interest for making a batch of custom parts? There are some guys on rctech that i've bought from that make custom B4 & RB5 parts? How much do you think a custom part would be?

Re: REPRO JRX2 BODIES!!!
I've recently picked up a JRX-T for a runner, thinking of converting it to a buggy - is is the same chassis outline as the Pro? It seems longer and straighter on the sides than the original JRX-2 I have.

Re: Another battered child. RPS = Rescued by Protective Services
wow, that looks like the original motor too!
I had one as a 12yr old, I really struggled keeping it running (esp the gearbox) last few years of its life it was a front wheel drive car w/ no brakes due to the one ways!
Good luck & post some pics when you're done.

Re: jrx2 versus RC10
I love this thread, takes me back to my youth racing at the track in the local strip mall. When we were all running frogs/grasshopper etc in the street, the RC10 seemed light years ahead. Once I started racing, at my local track it was all RC10s - I remember folks in the pits filing those gears down...

Is there a how to post pics section? Guess I need to use photobucket vs. picasa?

Re: New here, just picked up a nice JRX-2!
If you see a decent runner let me know (watching a few on ebay)!
Where do you guys find parts? anywhere else besides ebay?
I know when this one comes I'll be itching to throw electronics in it and race the vintage class against the RC10s.
....must resist...

New here, just picked up a nice JRX-2!
Hey guys, this forum is great! I just picked up a nice Jrx-2 from Knucklebuster can't wait for it to get here (hopefully I didn't pay too much :? ). When I was a teenager, I picked up the first Jrx-2 sold from our local hobbyshop/track and had a great time with it beating those old gold pans - made ...
