Re: Serpent Quality
Thank-you for the feedback.
I'm still on the fence about the Serpent. My local hobbyshop has a couple of F110 kits but I'm not sure if anyone is running them.

Serpent Quality
I'm thinking about purchasing a Serpent F110 (1/10th scale F1) kit. I'm not too familiar with Serpent quality as the last Serpent car I drove was ~15 yrs ago. Can anyone tell me if Serpent still builds a quality product as the price tag is premium but the manufacturing takes place in China? The Serp...

Re: Spectrum's Active Vehicle Control stability system
I seem to recall someone having an early version of traction control at the 1991 IFMAR World's in Detroit. I believe RCCA did a write up on it with pics.

Re: My other passion - Lego Technic
I still have at my parents house the Lego Technic automobile (mid-late 80s) with standard shift transmission, reclining seats and working 4 cylinder engine.

Where do you get the special edition Technic kits from Lego or can you order from your local store?

Re: Vonats rules
The intent of the VONATs is race vintage vehicles like they were back in the day. As technologies have changed, it is not always possible to run brushed motors, stock tires and nimh batteries thus some newer technology is allowed. The whole purpose of this race isn't to win the A-main with a holiday...

Re: The Chase has started !!!! Is your driver in ????
NASCAR started to lose it years ago. There success in the 80's and 90's gave them huge egos where they thought they could do no wrong. In an effort to spread their country wide domination, they added tracks that never should have been added to the schedule. When their racing started to s*ck, they ch...

"Last year he stood right in front of me at Ohsweken to watch the other sprint cars run in heat races...good thing I am almost 6'3" tall so I can see over him"
I'd say anyone over 6' would have towered over Tony as he's not even close to being tall.

I'm not surprised the Deere Loader got stuck, but was really surprised the Case got stuck.
