Re: Budhatrain's rc10 classic
So added some more parts... turnbuckles, rpm rod ends and puretech strap. But I also received my aluminum case! http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/budhatrain/photo3_zpse5af99f5.jpg http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/budhatrain/photo4_zps7f22cb52.jpg http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae2...

Re: Budhatrain's rc10 classic
Ok this is better... I have never liked the way the plastic parts looked against the aluminum cases. So here's all aluminum parts, 6 pieces (two case halves, two outdrive cups and two bearing retainers). Re: Budhatrain's rc10 classic
In a old RCCA Buyer's Guide I recently picked up, I spotted an ad for a kit SRS made that replaced the nylon 6 gear bearing adapters with over-sized flanged bearings....and I'm thinking the bearings would be a nicer look on these aluminum cases than the nylon adapters. These bearings should be the ...

Re: Budhatrain's rc10 classic
Thanks for the comments, and I value your wisdom and advice Thank you! Very cool and needed build. It felt like a hobby again
I have looked into the straps from pure tech, what length should I get for a 2s Lipo pack 4" or 6" strap?

Re: Budhatrain's rc10 classic
Nice, very tasteful on the upgrades, and the paint job is killer! Is it going to be a runner? I wouldn't be afraid to run it... But I would like to pick up an undertray. Plus I need somewhere to run. Leagues or clubs are scarce where I am at. I race indoor replica monster truck racing in Michigan...

Re: Budhatrain's rc10 classic
Nice build! Does anyone know if the rpm arms are compatible with this kit? Yep, but you'll need these: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXEFKV&P=7 Ahh, good to know. Thanks for the link. Are there any problem with the front a-arms? Are the RPM ones wider or anything? Would I...

As payment for feedback you can paint me a body 8) Well, when I said "I had made up" I meant "I had paid another guy to paint for me." I wish I was that good, I bought a new airbrush but I would have to pay you to take my lids. Haha Kris from Darksidedesigns.net awesome painter,...

Budhatrain's rc10 classic
It's been a while! For the past year I have committed to pursue my Master's Degree and now I read a book a week and write a paper a week. Being a dad is number 1 for me so I have to guard my time and sometimes I feel pretty overwhelmed. This memorial day weekend has been great, and I was able to tak...

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?
I just called three places, Tower Amain and Rpphobby and all of them are still taking pre-orders. Rpp told me they ordered 200 and I was like 130 on the list. Rpphobby is still taking orders and they are guaranteed their number they said. I could be wrong but in that interview, when he said that the...
