Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
They don't sell a rear wheel that would work with the 12mm hex rear in that offset. I think it would add to confusion as well when buying wheels. It's already bad enough with the 1/4" and 3/16" offerings While they were busy copying your work, they could have made at least one new origina...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
I downloaded their promotional images, if it's of interest to anyone. RC104WD-Profile.jpg RC104WD-Body-Off.jpg RC104WD-3qr-rear.jpg RC104WD-Transmission.jpg RC104WD-Front-Transmission.jpg Front hex wheel drive and rear cross pin? They should have done both ends the same. Also hex should have been g...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
I'm not going to lie, I would rather put my money where my mouth is and buy the conversion from you. At best, I'll send you an order for some parts instead of buying this release. Same here, I maybe late to the party, but I'd buy a conversion as well. I have already supported AE with the CC and 40t...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
I wouldn't expect ours to be allowed, and thus the AE car as well, as it only goes back to 2013 or so. It's nothing like a real mip car, those imo are all that should be allowed. Depending on how close Eustace makes his, it may or may not be allowed. If it's updated for modern power, I'd expect no ...

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
The new gear diff FanRC trans requires drilling the motor plate but I don't think you drill the chassis at all. From what I've seen it's just a simple drill jig for the motor plate But yeah that's the main thing we concentrated on with our case- no drilling for ANY rc10, and any brace fits as well ...

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
Does one go this route to build a stealth? Or maybe it's easier to get the FanRC one? 🧐 Id hold off on the FanRc until he sorts the gritty diff plates and fixes the gear mesh issue. As much as I hate to say it, the AE trans is probably the way to go for now at least. Good to know.. thank you.. what...

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
AE had the stealth case halves pop up in a similar RC10 parts search earlier this year showing as discontinued, out of stock, unable to purchase, etc but with a projected in stock time just like these. Then shortly after the 10T came out the stealth case halves became in stock and available. It see...

Mine arrived yesterday and I’m not a particularly “special” client at Amain.

Re: Tamiya discontinued items?
I have to confess to not paying a whole lot of attention to Tamiya or Kyosho in the past year, but is it me or have Tamiya prices gone through the roof? I pulled out an M-05 Mine Cooper kit that I have been meaning to build for a while and thought about getting a second body for it. I was stunned a...

The Buggy Champ (Rough Rider) remained discontinued and last year we saw a new batch. I have a feeling we will see a new batch of Super Champ eventually.. hopefully in 2021

Re: 6623 Diff Bushings
Thanks for letting me know.
Are both bushings the same size? The one on the pinion side seems smaller in diameter than the diff tube side.

6623 Diff Bushings
I picked up a fairly clean original A stamp RC10 from eBay. Cosmetically the car was pristine. It wasn't until I opened up the 6 gears trans that I realised that it wasn't all that pristine. When I removed the spur, noticed the car had 1 diff ring only. Trans had 2 bearings only, the rest were bushi...
