Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
@GoMachV, if we want a 4WD now, AE's the only option right, as yours has been long discontinued?

Re: Fan RC FR-01
Cool, thanks - I wasn't aware of the shock lengths. I have the Classic re-release from 2013ish but I missed out on the Worlds car.
I plan to run it on a tight(ish) indoor carpet track so getting the car lower would help corner handling.

Re: Fan RC FR-01
I'm building one up, but following the Worlds re-re instructions and also Mark Westerfield's build, which calls for "3x .125" downstop spacers. As FanRC's kit doesn't include these spacers (only includes the 0.031" size), and ASC6466 is out of production, what recommendations? I'm thi...

Even a T2 ReRe would be nice. I have a Team Moo tribute body ready to go for a T2 ReRe!

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Is the intention making a car meant for the vintage racing scene, followed by part turnover and additional sales. Or just a run of kits with next to nothing of spares... Call me cynical, but the recall the CE released a few years back: https://www.associatedelectrics.com/teamassociated/cars_and_tru...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Other than the box stand, chassis etching, I'm guessing these will be quite similar to the RC10 CE from a while back?

Re: B3 / T3 Bearing Kits?
Good point about the axles, I didn't know they were sized differently. I'll have to dig deeper into the manuals and compare them.
I know I'll need front wheel bearings and for the stealth transmission at the minimum.

B3 / T3 Bearing Kits?
I have a T3 Sport kit that I found on a local buy/sell page, but it comes with bronze bushings.
Would a bearing kit for B2/B3 also fit? I'm reading into Fast Eddy bearings, but it doesn't appear they have a bearing kit anymore - any other suggestions?
I'm in Canada if that helps.. thanks!

Re: T3/B3 Skid Plates?
At first I was going for new parts, but with the cost of NOS parts skyrocketing I think I'll entertain lightly used (but not overly scratched up) parts.. it would certainly make things a lot more economical.

T3/B3 Skid Plates?
Hi, I decided to cracked open my B2-B3 conversion kit but after some heavy breathing and humming and hawing, I decided to leave my B2 alone and not convert it. So now I've been considering to build up a RC10 B3 from the RC10B2-B3 conversion kit - the bigger showstoppers steam to be getting ahold of ...

Re: B3 Conversion Kit etc.
Personally, if you have a B2 and want a B3, I would just buy a B3. I've been keeping my eye out for a reasonable priced B2 just because they're a bit unusual. A lot more B3 buggies out there. Thanks.. what oddities do B2s have? Perhaps I'll keep the B2 as-is and just keep the conversion kit.. the B...

B3 Conversion Kit etc.
I picked up a NISB B2-B3 conversion kit #9023 that I found deep within a hobby store's inventory.. (along with a pile of B2, B3, T3 parts). I couldn't find many pictures of #9023 here, but a few of #9022. When the box says Graphite Conversion Kit does this mean this has a carbon chassis, or does it ...

Re: Optima is back!!
Any recommended hop ups before I start buidling? I saw that PPM came out with a whole line of replacement Carbon parts.
Nice eye-candy, for sure:
