Re: My old-new gold tub project...
I just did it by trial and error and luckily mixed up a small bottle's worth. I don't have a formula and each time Im sure it will be a little different. I used fastkolor paints, yellow, white and orange and mixed them until I got something close. I did also add just a very light drop of red once, ...

Re: My old-new gold tub project...
Eau Rouge and Ruffy what is the color of the bodies in your avatars? I've read and read and can't find the color. I'm in the process of restoring my 25 year old RC10 that was never built as a buggy. There is no proper direct color match to the box art RC10 right out of a jar. I custom mix my "...

Re: 6 gear help - diff pinion stuck to diff tube
I gently banged it off. Since the gear doesn't go fully on the tube you can get something to fit inside the gear against te edge of the tube and tap it out. I just did mine and I may have used the fat part of the diff shaft to do it. Even though it really felt stuck on, mine came off fairly easy. Re...

Re: Color of gold tub box art
CamplinP I have the box and 11 photos of one off Ebay which looks just like the box color wise. I thought someone said awhile ago that they had the color or the color formula for the body. I haven't found it yet. I even emailed AE and they have no record or any info on it. Since the RC10 gold tub is...

Color of gold tub box art
Looking for the colors or how to make the colors of the orangish gold tub body. I spent about 30 minutes here searching and no luck. Never did a buggy before with my RC10. Now I'm realizing you almost have to cut the rear shock area of the body in half. Argh! Some of the pics I have look as though t...

Re: Wheels for an original Blackfoot
RPM said they have sold wheels to Blackfoot owners but didn't know the sizes or which Blackfoot they were for. I don't know if the 3 different Blackfoots are the same or different. The Nitro wheels from RPM should fit and they told me the bearing size. Now to figure out what to do about the rear. No...

You did it all wrong. By the time I get done using tact, diplomacy and compromise with my wife she's just about ordering them for me!

Re: Tecnacraft "Nice Set of Wheels" Ad
Man, I want a few sets as well. I'm a new schooler when it comes to RC, but I have a weak spot for metal stuff. A few sets?!!!!!!! They don't give those wheels away!! They were around $100 a set 20 years ago!! Once I could finally afford them they went out of business. Now if he comes back I'm reti...

Re: Wheels for an original Blackfoot
The Sees wheels that I like just went for over $160 on Ebay. That is the style of wheel that I want. I really didn't wanna get the spoke type.

Re: Wheels for an original Blackfoot
delsami thanks. I have found the HPI 5 spokes but I'd like to get the wheels with the holes or slots similiar to the factory ones. Did you have to use special adapters and what about the wheel bearings? Thanks.

Re: Rebuilding the 6 gear transmission.
I'm in the process of putting the 6 gear back together. I can get 16 seconds of free spin by spinning the outdrives on the axle of the center spline plate!! I have two bearings in the outdrive. I tried spinning the outdrive with just the one flanged bearing and the outer race of the inner bearing as...
