Re: Front Wheel Drive Buggy Discussion

I got an ORB FWD, based on a B6.1.

Nice piece of kit, works very well in low grip conditions

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - May 2025 ** - Winner - morrisey0

I grew up around a lot of bikers (the big tough bearded Harley riding kind, not the spandex and pointy helmet kind) and I could swear "FTW" meant something different back then. :lol: Congratulations on the win, although I must confess, my vote went to the Ford Thunderbird body from RC10th...

Congrats to Morrisey0 for the win.

No small feat. Like I stated previously; pretty much half of this months entries could have justifiably been in BOTY.

@juicedcoupe

Didn't know that Schumacher had shortnecks aswell. Thanks.

For now the Dremeld parts are fine. But if I need to order some parts I'll try to add some AE shortnecks. Just to be save.

Re: Team-car re-re runner by Janus

Very interesting. Here we are in stock racing removing slippers and gears in the diff for less rotating mass, I guess when you have unlimited power the mass doesn't matter as much. Correct. In stock you're geared so high rotating mass is key. But in mod, especially with the avalible power with the ...

Re: Team-car re-re runner by Janus

Is that added mass to the slipper? Yep, Counter rotational mass. Helps (a bit) to keep, the nose more flat while accelerating. Just makes it a little more easy to drive. We used homemade ones on the B4, and later X-factory made an official version for the "X6 4-gear" car to be used on hig...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - May 2025 ** - Winner - morrisey0

Here is my new RC10 Team Car (Re-Re) runner. My previous runner had worn through it's 2nd chassis and every nut and bolt had to be checked after each run. So with the current "re-re rain" by AE, it was a perfect time for a fresh one. e2172d4c-6016-4eea-9c4b-26a3b1c02316.jpg I know, the cur...

Re: Team-car re-re runner by Janus

1st Clubrace today with the car. Qualified 5th in the A-main. Not fast enough for the fast guys, and since you're lacking cornering speed a bit hard to race head-to-head against LD3's, B7's and B6's. Lost some spots by own stupidity and won some spots by misfortune of others, and ended up where I st...
