Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I know this is not vintage, but hoping for potential hint on this accessory pack... This was in a pile of other stuff, so I really have no idea how old it is - but more importantly I don't know what model it goes with?? I believe it would be from an 8th scale buggy, given the suspension pills? Howev...

That stadium truck race was awesome!
Jason,
Can you share your T3 setup:
- ESC / motor?
- Gearing?
- Shock springs/oil/mounting position?
And what about tires?
- I did not have good traction with B3...

Dang, I don't think I am going to be able to make this one - though I would love to go! Anyone else planning to make it? By The Way - for the sealed-can (brushed) classes it sounds like a bring-your-own motor? - No Handout? - And no designated 'turns' ?? - So could you bring a 12-turn sealed can mot...

Howdy! Yes I am planning to make it to NC in a couple weeks! Yeah, I wrecked on one of those stand-up electric scooters - was going about 30mph and slammed down hard... - Severe injuries to left shoulder (shattered humeral head) and left knee (Broken tibial plateau and fibula). - It has been a long ...

Re: How many years have you been into RC?
I got a Tamiya Frog for Christmas when it was the newest thing, so 1983.
But I had many toy-grade R/Cs before that (I was born in 1973).
I got into racing around 1986, then did not pay much attention to R/C from roughly 1991 to 2001.

Re: What was your first RC experience?
I had multiple toy-grade R/Cs, I would ask for one every Christmas. - The only one I really remember was the "Dust Runner", a model of the Honda ATC250R three-wheeler with cool rubber tires and Hi/Lo transmission. Well one year one of my older brothers (who dabbled in R/C airplanes) convin...

Well, recovery from my injuries seems to be taking forever... but I am at least able to walk short distances with a crutch, I still can't use my left arm much but rehab for that should finally start next week. So I am optimistic I will be functional by January - I'll just have to bribe my wife to co...

The wing on that RC10 is mounted really far forward?
I wonder how that affects handling?

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Thanks for the info above!
Follow-up:
I am digging through boxes to rebuild some Stealth transmissions - I have one #6628 RC10 Diff Spring.
- Is this one different from the other two (6582 and 6587)??

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Are the ASC 6582 Diff Thrust Spring and ASC 6587 Torque Control Spring different from each other?
- Or is it just that 6587 comes with the slipper locknut?
