you can still get parts for the 6 gear, it's just that not all of them are readily accessible. you might have to hunt for some of the stuff. being as though you have a 6 gear, i'd stay in the 27 turn stock motor range, maybe a 19 turn. no sense in grenading it if there's nothing wrong with it.
