Schumacher super hex diff v. MMS diff

Hello, I had a question about the front diff I'm selling and how it compares with the MMS diff... - The Schumacher diff has machined alloy washer carriers (more precise, stronger and heat absorbing) whereas the MMS diff has nylon (plastic) carriers. - The Schumacher diff has twin ball bearings house...

Once they're gone they're gone!

By the way, those diff parts cost well over £40 and some time and effort to collect. I don't have any more spares of those parts so do check them out... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Schumacher-Procat-diff-conversion-/270988980422?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item3f1833b0c6#ht_3979wt_1139...

Good stuff... so are they retired or still raced in anger from time to time? I think I have enough spares to assemble a complete front diff like the one in my Procat... dare I sell it? I've got a brand new overdrive pulley, alloy super hex diff washer carriers, B-Fast flattened Losi plates, carbon f...

Thank you for your kind words, Jason :D I've learned so much that I can apply to my new Kyosho FS2... but that won't be ready for at least a month. Until then I'm going to keep racing the Procat like it was intended 8) I see you're selling your spares... are you weaning yourself off the vintage Cats...

In an attempt to get the car handling better over smaller bumps at high speed, I changed the rear damper settings from 2x1.4mm diameter piston holes 27.5wt oil to 2x1.45 dia. holes and 30wt oil. I also changed the pink Losi springs (2.3 lb/in) to yellow Schumacher springs (2.0 lb/in). I also refitte...

Re: Luke's Procat rebuild

Hi Jason

Well, don't worry I'm not retiring the Procat... ever

I just got a second hand Kyosho FS2, which should be more competitive. I did look at the SX3 but there's a lot of FS2 at Stotfold and my mate is also getting one.

JC Racing Cat wheels

I agree, that's a great paint job.

It would look wicked with black dish wheels...
