Re: Original Gold Shock internal retaining clip size

I'm sorry I did not explain better. I'm talking about the internal retaining clip on the outside of the oldest gold shocks that holds the o-rings in place.

Does anyone know the size of the retaining clips for the original gold shocks? I'm trying to order some from McMaster-Carr.

Re: Vintage AE's RC10 graphite runner

What brand or where did you get the gold mini nuts. I have four of them but I don't know where they came from. I need to get more.

Stealth Bearing questions

I'm just a little lost. I have this old white stealth transmission that came with a used buggy. I wanted to try and use it on a DS but it did not feel right. So I decided to take it apart and rebuild it by just cleaning everything and greasing the parts.

What does the distilled water do? Does the lack of minerals and boiling help them come back somewhat. Almost like a cleansing?

Re: A little lesson from your Ol' Uncle Erich

I recently replaced the keyboard on a unibody aluminum MacBook Pro. Just getting to the keyboard took about an hour and a half. Then to find out the keyboard was held to the unibody by about 40 pin size phillips screws. It was one of those things where once I had started I was too far into it to tur...

Early White Shock Tower

Newbie here. I've been trolling this forum for a few months now and recently became a member. I have read a good 80% of the forum excluding the on road stuff, nothing against it just figure I'd stick to what I know for now. I have already acquired a couple of starter cars that I got from eBay. The s...
