What is the stadium truck tire of choice for this track?

It already has a TT chassis on it. The original was broke where the front top plate bolts up. I have been on the hunt for an AE chassis but as you said they are hard to find.

I think you'll be competitive for sure :D Personally I haven't tried the upgraded slipper on any of my 3's, but the old slipper does tend to glaze up pretty fast with brushless. If I was racing I'd upgrade it. The only other things I suggest is Ti turnbuckles if don't have them yet. If you have dog...

After doing some more research in different threads it appears that the t4/b4 topshaft will swap right in.

If i have to change the topshaft i would probably just get the avid one as well. Hopefully someone will chime in with a positive answer on the need of a topshaft swap. Thanks for your help vwjuice.

Sixtysixdeuce, I would give more info on the track if i could, but i have not been ther yet. I do know that its an outdoor clay track. Will the t4.2 slipper bolt right up to the t3 topshaft? If so i will probably just get the Avid slipper.

Anybody still club race one of these things? A new track opened in my area and the only rc i have left is an old T3 roller that needs some new parts. I contemplated buying a new t4.2 but decided to just get what i need for the T3. In the end i'll probably have just as much money invested in T3 parts...

Got a Plano 737 tackle box from the wife. It will be my new r/c parts and tool box.

I had an 82 J10 that I sold a year ago and have regretted it ever since. Spent a ton of money and time on that thing. Also had an 89 wrangler that is missed dearly. Looking to get another jeep project soon.
I may be crazy but I think working on them is half the fun.

Looks like its gonna be a fun build with all those new parts you have there.
I think a 10t is gonna be my next project.
