Re: MR ED 's ultima hop-ups

Steering uprights... Is that the part holding the wheel axle? I wasn't planning for those. Did you have some ideas? Oh, I got you, you want those knuckles fitting the c-carrier and b3wheels and axles, right? I don't own those wheels or axles, so, not likely. Maybe someone with metalworking tools ca...

Fantastic! What is the plan for the steering uprights? And was the thought to use B3 type wheels?

Re: Tamiya Toyota Prerunner, any good?

After bombing through the yard years ago, I restored my Prerunner. I also added the aluminum motor mount and the hardened prop shaft.

Which one were you thinking of using? I think your grubscrew location might be right under the shock tower or at least hard to get t...

Re: Email and Anti Google alternatives?

I would recommend protonmail. I use it all the time. It's solid and encrypted. How well does Protonmail work for normal day to day stuff? Can you use it for your ebay, paypal address etc? Yeah, you can use it for anything. It's a normal e-mail address except it has the extra layer of encryption. Yo...

Re: When Kyosho RE-REs the Ultima, I Hope...

I've run across several of those in my travels. I've never purchased one. I think it's cool from a vintage parts point of view but I have no idea if it will improve Ultima handling. I guess if somehow it decreases the excessive push when turning, that would be good.

Last time I was in Paris, I rode the Metro everywhere. Easiest way to get around and not have to worry about driving.
