In Houston a lot of us ran the MIP three-gear tranny but replaced the ball diff with a unit from Thorp. Just cut down the outdrive axles and slip on the outdrive cups and go. The Thorp was bullet-proof!

Here are some pics we took from one of the hills surrounding the Antioch track and one of our pit area. I'm the goofy looking one in the back right adjusting my hat. Notice the BRP trailing arms w/ Schumacher axles on the car hanging in the pit area. So many memories!

This was a fun race and my first national event after a year of racing. I won the "Q" main in stock. I came to the race with a brand new A&L trailing arm car without running it before. i hated that thing! I have some pics from the race, can I post those here or somewhere else? i am new...

I went to this race. There were so many people in attendance, that we could leave the track to go eat stop by the hotel for a cat nap.

I went to this race! A group of us from Houston went to the race in a RV and camped at the track. My friend. Frosty St. Clair had just picked up am Associated sponsorship, so i was soooooo jealous. he would come back from the AE camp with tons of stuff!
