Re: Rc10Gt W/ T4 Slipper help
My friend and I started with nitro, Both loved it. But we eventually went all E, wish i still had a nitro at times. I know theres pros and cons to both nitro and eletric, but where we live i dont think the neighbors would take kindly to the noise. Plus i sold all my nitro gear a couple years back. H...

Re: Rc10Gt W/ T4 Slipper help
Well good to know. I actually spotted some RRP metal transmission gears at my lbs. Might have to go pick those up! Well I plan on doing this conversion for friend too sense he's never driven his rc10gt sense he got it with a bad nitro motor and has had it for at least 3 years. Probably do his a litt...

Re: Rc10Gt W/ T4 Slipper help
Thanks for the info. I readjusted the ball diff and it seemed to help. So I'll go back into that again tonight. The reason I did the t4 top shaft was because I got a brand new sc10 slipper setup for free, figured the dual disc slipper would be a little better than the stock one with the 4pole motor....

First off, i've been lurking for a long time. I posted a while back but i've but the rc10s (and 12!) on the back burner. Well now its winter and i find myself tinkering in the garage again. So i had a Rc10gt Converted over to a sc10gt with the forum member robert page's chassis, I was all done minus...

Re: Rc10GT restoration project
Alright, I'll give it a try! My GT came without a body and I'd really like to stick with a original body instead of something like a crowd pleazer, I looked but didn't see if Mr. Lexan made a repop of the GT body, i did see the 10T though

Rc10GT restoration project
So I acquired a big box of RC10 stuff from a co-worker that he said he's had for a long time. In the Box was a RC10T and a RC10GT pan chassis. Also a box of misc parts, oils, tires, etc. I've had these for about a year now and finally have gotten to start cleaning them up! I started rewhitening all ...

Re: Older truck Identification
Yeah thats what i'm kinda figuring out. I would really just like to do wheels, body and missing battery strap, and replace screws w/ the proper ones. I cant find any literature on it to help me along w/ part numbers or anything. I figure if i find anything i should just buy it up and stash it I guess

Older truck Identification
New to the board, but not new to the vintage scene! Right now i have a RC10T and a black tub rc10gt. Both have various upgrades and parts, some rpm parts, lunsford, mip steering, etc. But recently my uncle has moved away and i remember seeing a old rc car in his closet a long time ago. Before he mov...
