Yeah the yard slopes away from the house so drainage is not a problem. Ill clear the dirt away from the sides and use the 4" black pipe for a border. I'm trying to work out the best way to smooth and solidify the track though. I'm thinking a powered tamp would be best. Has anyone here used one ...

Ok here's what I did. Completely disassembled the carb, removed all rubber, and soaked it in carb cleaner. Changed the fuel lines. Now gas will get to the carb but VERY slowly. I started messing with the stock motor. The car will fire only if I pour nitro directly into the carb. And then stall after its burned out. It does not seem to be sucking from the gas tank. Ver nice. I also have a T41 xp3 SS transmitter/receiver combo to go into it. Can you recommend a decent metal geared servo? I don't need the best but want reliability.
After doing some research I may be leaning towards a 15 motor instead of an 18. Is it just me or does the 15 seem to be easier on the gears and more reliable? Any advice is much appreciated.
