Re: RC10T 3D printed rear bulkhead
Great looking print! Are you using M3 fasteners now? Will you sell / share the design? Thanks for the comment! Most are 4-40 inserts: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P1T5693?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details The bottom two are 8-32 inserts: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CG4K9FM5?ref=ppx_yo2ov...

Re: RC10T 3D printed rear bulkhead
Nicely made part , I did try ABS CF and was never really sure if the CF brought anything to the party , it tends to make things stiffer but ABS is pretty stiff already , looks very pretty though and is easier to print than regular ABS . I cannot say definitively that the CF makes the part stronger....

RC10T 3D printed rear bulkhead
I just finished the design of a 3D printed rear bulkhead for my RC10T. I printed it using carbon fiber infused ABS. The original bulkhead weighted in at 25g, this printed part weighted in at 9g without the brass threaded inserts, 13 with the inserts. Everything seems to work fine, I suspect that it ...

Re: Camo RC10T
Any recommendations on a brushless motor/esc combo? I'm considering the Duratrax element 3900kV.

Re: Mad Racer's Boomerang ( Runner)
Wow, I didn't even realize they did a re-re on the Boomerang! Mine is the original, I think I purchased it in 1988 or 89. The center shaft on mine bent, it is much lighter gauge wire than the one you have. Do the new shafts fit in the original?

Re: Mad Racer's Boomerang ( Runner)
Nice Boomerang! I am planning to do a restore on mine, as soon as I am finished with my RC10T. Any issues using the re-re Hot Shot center shaft?

Re: Midnight Pumpkin
Yeah, the body is getting beat up. This is his first "real" RC car, the crashes have been spectacular! I am impressed at how well the truck is handling the abuse.

Re: Midnight Pumpkin
I had an old Le Mans 240ST, so we had to try it out! It was a BIG improvement over the stock motor.

Re: Midnight Pumpkin
The body mounts broke about the same time as the torsion springs, so we made a brace/body mount out of aluminum angle.

Re: Midnight Pumpkin
After about a week the torsion springs broke and we added the 5th shock (and upgraded the other 4 while we were at it)
