Re: Reproduction Tires from Marwan
I have bought a lot of stuff from this man over the years and never been disappointed. His tires, stickers and other stuff is first rate. A lot of my older buggies wear his rubber and look great, I thank you Marwan!

Kyosho Gallop
Just finished up my Gallop. 4wd, 4ws. Car is restored back to spec. Getting hard to find these anymore especially the darned tires. I have the driver, just haven't got around to painting it. Here is one pic, more in my TamiyaClub showroom. http://i66.tinypic.com/2dajcl4.jpg https://www.tamiyaclub.co...

Just finished RACO Jac-Rabbit
I have been collecting parts to do this for a while now. It has parts off of several RACO vehicles including alloy rear arms, velocity stack, alloy bumper and new wheels and tires. The fron shock mounts were made by Chris at eyecit.net, he still sells them on ebay. The carb has been rebuilt and it r...

Re: Varicom Big Grizzly
The Panda line was offered by Thunder Tiger. I have a buggy and a 1/10 carpet racer in nitro. I have not finished past this question, but Playtron made at least 2 other nitro buggy type vehicles, the Viva Arizona and the Mercedes 500K in Europe. For some reason the Viva was never offered in Europe, ...

Any of that series of Kyosho is very collectible. The Ford GT, MGB, Ferrari, Cobra etc were available in both electric, with the total POS Mantis chassis, or the more realistic nitro powered with the GS 11. The body work, although thin, is superb. I just picked up my second Cobra so I don't have to ...

Re: Found this motor while diging in my old boxes>.....
You have what was in the old school, the best motor that Tamiya made. It only came in the top of the line rigs and it is the proper motor for the Avante, arguably the best looking old school buggy. It used to bring in the packaging around a hundred +/-. Now, it depends on who needs it and how bad. L...

Re: A 1/4 scale RC10???
Ahhhhh the venerable JacRabbit! HPI thinks they invented the weed eater powered vehicle. These beauty's have been around since before there was a HPI. Mine is very nearly finished. If I had found out sooner that the body prefers Krylon to the 9 dollar for 3 ounce Tamiya paint I was trying to use to ...

Re: Project RC10 T3
This and the B version are as good as the 4's that replaced them. It is amazing what parts and improved parts are still available. In the market they are pretty inexpensive platform, but with a good wheely wheel it will go like the wind brushless, really fast. It made a believer out of me.

Re: *** what's your favorite rc car ***
The one I am working on NOW. Then on to the next project. Then it becomes my favorite. Find candidate, collect parts and "extras", build and paint. Or get lucky and have a pal send you one for a good price, already to go.

Hello, my name is Bradd, my user name over at Tamiya club is subarubrattjunkie, member 1501. I have been in the RC scene since 2002 when I was hurt in an industrial accident that left me unable to walk for 2 years+. Before that I had built several 1:1 Subaru Brat's. After the fall, I bought a Brat r...
