Re: OLD KO PROPO TRANSMITER NOT TRANSMITTING!!!

Some of the members on this site have 12 rc10's... some have 12 old wheel radios... some have both... (some have 100's of tamiyas) I do have a sizeable collection of vintage radios from 80's and early 90's, ideally high-end ones... because 25yrs after it feels fantastic to play with toys I couldn't...

longboardnj, I was only joking around with my "Right on Lonestar!!!!" comment Yeesh! As far as your opinion of KO stuff goes, that's your opinion. I have 12 KO radio systems and all but this one have never let me down any ware in the world. Even Musami ran a KO, and I think that speaks vo...

Re: Which old skool esc?

I have a 410K on it's way and a 411P plus have a MOSPOWER and a Gold Star unit too. Have lots of Novak's too and was wonde...

Re: OLD KO PROPO TRANSMITER NOT TRANSMITTING!!!

UPDATE. So, I went to see a buddies dad on Saturday morning who is a ham radio guy. He is more comfortable with tubes than solid state electronics but he looked over my transmitter with hi equipment. after a little bit, he decided that I should check out some of the transistors on a board. He felt t...

Re: OLD KO PROPO TRANSMITER NOT TRANSMITTING!!!

this is rc10talk, man... not rc10b4.1rtrtalk... ;) Not to mention that this was the only pistol grip to ever sport a helm wheel! Sadly, I replaced it with a regular wheel somewhere in the 90's and don't know what i did with it...http://www.rc10talk.com/posting.php?mode=quote&f=78&p=292029#

Re: OLD KO PROPO TRANSMITER NOT TRANSMITTING!!!

KO PROPO radios gave me some trouble in the past and i junked them. seems like some of the old radios get lazy (dont want to work all the time) your best bet is to get full new radio gear . you can get am radio, rec, servo, the full combo on ebay for $30 - $40 just do that and save yourself the headac...

Re: OLD KO PROPO TRANSMITER NOT TRANSMITTING!!!

One possibility to do, since You don't seem to have nothing to lose, is to go through all potentiometers what You find. One by one check their current setting, turn them a few degrees back and forth afew times and try to get them to same position than they used to be. This might help to get corrosi...

Re: OLD KO PROPO TRANSMITER NOT TRANSMITTING!!!

I wish it were that easy. I've had the transmitter apart and checked everything that I know. No loose wires, no craters in boards, no bad solder joints and no charcoal... Also as I stated, the receiver works fine with another transmitter ( I have 8 of them), and the TX crystal works in another trans...

OLD KO PROPO TRANSMITER NOT TRANSMITTING!!!

Hey guys, I need help! I have an old KO PROPO Navigator (basically an EX-5) that powers up but doesn't transmit. I have checked the crystal on another EX-5 and it is OK. I do have an oscilloscope and am not a complete newbie to electronics, but my knowledge is limited when it comes to radios. Any he...

Re: Restoring an old RC10T2

Yes, I've also been wondering why the bellcranks are white. I will replace it by some new, black bellcranks. By the way: are the rear 3° suspension mounts, part number 7363, identical to those from the RC10 GT or B2?? Can someone help me with the electronics? My steering is white on my T2. To be au...
