I appreciate it! It was built for one purpose...fun and theres plenty of it to be had with it thats for sure. Im currently gettin all the sand out of it and soldering the ESC back together, patch up the body a bit and itll be back for more!

Re: Beater thread.
ALL my RC's are runners/bashers/beaters...no shelf queens here! Love to look at em but dont want one, I like to enjoy them in action. I have couple scale crawlers but heres the 2 buggies I play with. BroncoBuggy is my main beater. I LOVE this rig and with the new 17.5 brushless setup Im in heaven wi...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Finally an update for the ole BroncoBuggy! I havnt messed around with it for a while but the 17.5 Brushless motor has really ignited the fun so I picked up a couple items to help make it a more reliable buggy. First I tossed some new balljoints on and retired the originals. http://img.photobucket.co...

I dig it!!! I love the tires, doin the same with the BroncoBuggy, but need some 1.55 wheels for it before I can complete the look.

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Thanks!!! It was alot of fun hittin the end of the straight with a small left bend and that was where the mud was so you could kick up a rooster tail and slide through it  I pulled the XL5-12t Titan combo out last night and tossed in a Mamba Max Pro and 17t SS brushless motor and now she's stup...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
I agree on the wheels, now if I could only figure out what to do on the rears to fit the other RC4WD tires. On the other hand...it really runs awesome with the oldschool pins so maybe I wont change em out! Premo...I found all of mine all over the place. Check here, ebay, other RC forums and even loc...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
I used to be a part of Tennesspeed (under the same screen name) and unfortunately I dont have the SVO anymore. I loved the car but didnt (at the time) have the means to keep it goin. I miss it very much but dont miss its quirks and bad habits LOL. I sold it, took some of the cash and finished gettin...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Just wanted to update the ole BroncoBuggy thread. I dont have any pics at the moment which makes me a little mad but I will get some soon, promise!!! I bombed this thing around a little a couple weeks ago, JUST after gettin the new wheels and tires and just wasnt feelin it. It was slow, flipped over...

Re: In progress - RC10 scorcher
NICE!!!! Can I bother you to measure the width of the rear from hex to hex? I wanted to go the DS arm route but ended up goin custom and Im not sure Im happy lol. One thing that stands out is how you allowed the body to sit low and cover most of the chassis which is what I wanted outta my BroncoBugg...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Got a chance to drive the Bronco a little more this weekend, but not anywhere very fun unfortunately. I zipped it around a parking lot and some grass and it went really well except for a turnbuckle coming apart (need to replace them all with newer ones in the proper length) and the motor gettin hot ...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Thanks!!! Every single part of this build minus the Proline tires and wheels is used, abused, rebuilt, straightened, borrowed, traded, dusted off, etc. I love doin builds like this!!! I built the scaler that was in the pics with it for $80 out of pocket. I do that with just about every build I do, b...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
I did that but the stock steering is so sloppy that it forces the wheel to full lock despite the epa's bein turned way down. I have an aluminum steering setup I picked up for my WOIN build but if it doesnt get movin soon Im gonna put it on the Bronco instead. I actually like the way the original whe...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Thought ide update the BroncoBuggy thread with the latest. Stole a page from the BlueBronco build and put some Proline Bronco fender flares on. I also took the original stock motor out and put in a fresh 27t Axial motor. She runs great now and looks ALOT better I think!!! Still need to do inner fend...
