Re: HPI RS10G H02TYPE pan car
Can't seem to ever find one of these. Yours looks great dressed with carbon fiber! I have a Street Machine restoration awhile back that was pretty much used up. Great little cars!

Re: Was KISS the hottest band in the world? 77'/78'
I remember when they took off their makeup on MTV in 83 and we were like "ugghh....put your makeup back on...their ugly!"
They had some good tunes bitd and I went to the hot in the shade 90 tour at Red Rocks. They do put on a great show I must admit.

Re: 10L project’S
this is the body I was mentioning Yeah mine must have always been the Bolink TOJs because they had lower spoilers and blank cockpits. That one looks way better. Did the Dahms come with that driver figure molded in? That seems to make it pop! It comes with a separate driver and extra wing. It is a r...

Re: 10L project’S
Cool post! I love seeing old dogs come back to life. I had one of those old Novak 4's in my Turbo Optima bitd and it caught fire on a practice lap at a local indoor track when running it with an 8.4V battery pack and the LeMans 240S (without the recommended ESC heatsinks). I learned pretty quick to ...

Re: Is this Snuffy Smith / Ralph Burch Jr. 1988 Prototype Hyperdrive?
Thanks for the info on the body. I know I have seen some old pics of Ralph's cars with the same logo on the hood and some other bodies that had the painters XX mark on them. I would love to see the old pit box you mentioned. I put the car on the back burner for some time but getting the itch to comp...

Re: Need pics of Team Ugly quick change battery setup.
Thanks for the link for the Viper build! Sweet looking car and they are not seen often. Ok, now I have a few ideas. I will make a template out of card stock and get it mocked up.

Re: Need pics of Team Ugly quick change battery setup.
😀 nailed it! Yep, got the itch to work on it again. Just not having much luck with examples to go by. I may have to give it a guess and go from there. I was also thinking of leaving the motor the way it is with all the patina on it. Just clean up the internals. I was amazed how smooth the diff was a...

Need pics of Team Ugly quick change battery setup.
Hi everyone!
I am wondering if anyone out there remembers Team Ugly from way back in time for pan cars? I am rebuilding the missing pieces for the pull bar locking tab and battery tray but I am needing some pictures I can reference.
If anyone has some examples they can post? Thanks!

Re: Is this Snuffy Smith / Ralph Burch Jr. 1988 Prototype Hyperdrive?
This looks like the car to me and a great find! The RCCA article mentions it getting stepped on by a corner marshall.. do you see any signs of that? Funny you mentioned that. I did notice some body creases and a large one on top of the roof kinda shaped like someone's foot. It's hard to capture wit...

Re: Is this Snuffy Smith / Ralph Burch Jr. 1988 Prototype Hyperdrive?
Wow! Sure looks like the real deal to me...awesome! Seriously nice find there! Steering blocks are white vs. black...but bending kingpins and swapping blocks was common bitd...and they're the same style. Yep - that is the only difference I see as well. You may be right about the front end being reb...
