Re: Modded out POS's of the month.
No the kickplate and battery slots are not hacked and yes I have seen worse too. it does look like they tried the spinarooni on the trans. I got the rc's apart. I dyed some parts last night. Mostly just the RPM stuff. I already put the RPM rear carriers on one of my shelfers. It's time to clean up t...

Modded out POS's of the month.
First I apologize if these belonged to anyone here but both of these "things" are sad attempts. It had to be said. The composite buggy is just crazy. Almost every piece of hardware is wrong or on backwards. Got some funky front end things going on. Drilled extra holes way out in the arms t...

T-MAXX shock oil
I decided to take a break from the RC-10's and build up a T-MAXX from my parts. I was just wondering what you guys think is a good medium weight for the original shocks?

For me it's all about originality and rarity so it was a no brainer. Prototypes that are featured in mags?

Re: Looking for some tire advice.
Well I went ahead and tore up some tires. I cut and tore the caps off. Most of the glue came off with the caps exept on the sides but I got it off. I mounted them to the axle and hooked up a battery to the motor. Then I used a sanding block and trued them the best I could. Far from perfect but they ...

Looking for some tire advice.
I am putting some old pan cars together and I am having the usuall tire issues. The foam is dryrotted, cracked, chunks missing, etc. I went on febay and found that foams are like $25. a pair. Crazy! I have a big lot of new and used BSR and TRC capped and full radials for concrete ovals. If I can get...

Re: K-TOWN-KITT's latest RC-10 and rebuild thread.
Just building up a runner. Early A stamp. The spring retainers don't have the slot for the piston shaft and no lip on the shock collar for the spring. Also has the rear shock tower with just the one hole for shock to mount to. The chassis is well used.

K-TOWN-KITT's rebuild thread.
I just wanted to start a thread for some of my RC10 rebuilds. I mostly use all used parts and use what I have. I seldom buy anything new and have a problem opening any NOS. I just finished this one up. Basically just built up from parts. The buggy has full bearings, cvd axles, upgraded composite-cra...

Never thought I'd be posting a thread here.
Just picked up a RC-10 A stamp runner to rebuild and got a Grasshopper with it. I have been thinking about the ones I had back in the day. If I remember correctly The buggy didn't jump or steer for anything. I remember everything was broken off or just plain broken including the chassis. A Body? Wha...

Check out this #SP20 find.
I just came across this sweet find. A Associated #sp20 decal sheet. Not sure which model the sheet is for. The sheet is perfect other than a smaller than standard staple hole in each upper corner. The staple holes are not by the decals themselves.

Re: Do you think AE ever thought about making a 1/8 scale Rc
Those are whats in these days. My buddys been bugging me for a few years to get a Baja. The Losi 4wd is the hottest thing right now. If I remember correctly, like a year ago when the Losi 1/5 first came out they were in such demand they were selling for like $2200. and the retail is only like $1300....
