But do you if a clear coat would last ?

I just finished polishing my rc10 pan...
Maybe someone who also did this could help me out...
Does the aluminum tarnish over time or does it stay fresh and shiny ?
Would a clear coat help?

i'm not really into the whole shelf car thing... I think i'm gonna make one a standard buggy and use the other one to build a scorcher... I really don't like the white parts so i think i'll go the black dye way... As for the original wheels, i have 2 complete sets that i don't use so i will probably...
