leave soaking in hot soapy water + scrub to death + leave in bleach for 24-48 hours + leave soaking in hot water again + scrub again = whiter than white parts (as long as the parts are in good basic condition like Asso_man! says)

I'm in agreement with MrL on this one, i boxed for 12 years and was pretty fit, and during that time i had (or it felt like i had) less illnesses and injuries. I stopped it when i hit 30 and had kids and i swear the 2 years afterwards were blighted with niggling back injuries, a recurring broken toe...

I used 3 dot brake fluid twice with perfect results but wouldn't use it again if your lid is in any way precious. both times were before i knew any better and the second time i left the shell soaking in there for 24 hours without any damage or compromise to the shell. most people have advised nitro ...
