Re: Associated powdercoated chassis colors
red, pink, blue, yellow, and green After searching around, the pattern I'm seeing is the green and pink are the two popular colors and red and yellow are the 2nd popular, and the blue I saw, I couldn't tell if it was a nice anodizing or a dark powder coating. Is that the trend or am I missing somet...

Porsche 911 Turbo
I happened upon this Kyosho Nitro Porsche, I figure it's a 90's vintage, and not too high end due to things like the lack of camber adjustment. I see the chassis as a spin-off of the Sand Master ST-2 platform. I was able to google a parts break down with numbers, seems as though this chassis has bee...

Re: 1/10th scale DS parking lot races in Austin/Roundrock TX
HAHAHAHA WOW quite a few Texans, and quite a few right here close too.
There is also an indoor dirt track in Cedar Park, but I have yet to go there, although good excuse to go eat at La Fronteria on 183.
The dirt track on 620 as far as I know has closed.

Re: Pink tub RC10
WOW, WOW, WOW! Thanks for all the insightful information everyone, that a big help. And thank to whoever split the thread up to make this one it's own  So I have read about vintage races and this has been going through my mind as a cool homage to this little RC10, with again, period correct pa...

Re: 1/10th scale DS parking lot races in Austin/Roundrock TX
Hobby Town there on Parmer and Mo Pac used to hold races in the parking lot on Saturdays, but I noticed the race trailer was at the south store there at Slaughter the last time I was there. You might give them a call and see which store is having the races, I will say since the south store moved to ...

Don't be jealous you know that's going to be a LOT of work getting that pan all cleaned up, when I think about it I cringe, LOL Another one that I bought strictly for a shelf queen is this 1/10 nitro Kyosho Porsche Turbo 911 that needs to be cleaned up and displayed: https://scontent-a-dfw.xx.fbcdn....

Hola from Austin, Tx
Or actually I'm just out side Austin in the old town in Texas, Bastrop. A strange web I have woven to get here, I fell in love with RC back in 1977-78 with the Tamiya's but they were way to expensive for me back then, so it wasn't until I had my own place 1986-87, that right down the street from me ...

Re: Associated powdercoated chassis colors
Wow poor chassis  Looks like it stayed in a pound for several winters, aluminium has even oxidised under the powdercoating. You can probably easily remove the sticky with WD40 or White Spirit. Yeah I warned everyone it was graphic, but in any case, I will strip it down and try to clean it up. ...

Pink tub RC10
In my search for information I ran across this fantastic site you all have here, and have been able to gain a vast amount of knowledge so far. So I figured I'll start with posting my rescued RC10 I obtained from a client that used to race back in the day (1988) with his dad (Schumacher CAT XLS in th...
