Hello tomolupus incredible that you found or remembered this advertising. Great thanks for that, because I really searched for, but couldn't find it. Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

Hi Fracek, The tank is a Serpent from a Quattro 2WD or 4WD, the front axle looks like a selfmade-version from a Graupner made out of aluminium. If that's true, the original one is made out of black plastic. You can have a look on this axle at: http://www.rclineforum.de/forum/board10-cars-und-trucks/...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

Hi,

does anybody have an idea what car this could be?
The rear axle and the chassis looks like a Associated RC12e, but the front axle???

The board for the radio (poor condition) looks like the Asso RC12e, but has small casted parts on it, which i never saw at a RC12e.

Greetings

Re: Vintage 1/8 white bumpers - material?

Hi,

as Pascal said, nylon is the material, but nylon is polyamid and when you go to a dealer you get pretty cheap polyamid.
Hope the name in english is also polyamid like in german... but I think so.

Say hello!

Hello greetings from Germany in the 80th I raced with differnt cars. First with a Sg Futura V, followed by a SG Futura VCS (I still have it) and a Serpent Quattro 2WD (I've got it too). Beside racing I got a Carlsson (crashed completely) a Graupner Expert Car (I sold). Than I stopped racing and star...
