Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Another RT1408 and Speed Gem Pro Chrominum with a sweet solder job. If I'd ever had a Speed Gems Pro Chromium back in the day, then I'd have to wonder how you got that motor from my collection. I used to do a lot of sweet solder jobs like that. I've been on the hunt for a particular Schumache...

Cliff Lett RC10 bodied CAT XL - Romsey ‘87
Not been on here for a while or really into much RC-wise but these are too cool not to post. An old journalist friend has loaned me his album of personal pictures from the Romsey Worlds in 1987. I have seen one thread requesting pictures of this car but not much else - these shots are previously uns...

Re: guess what (the game)
I hope it's this one, it sounds awesome! They should have called it BlackAwesomeFoot 58058 Blackfoot was the original for which the chassis was named. Released in 1986. Re-released in 2016 as 58633 with minimal changes. 58110 is the Super Blackfoot from 1992. What's the difference between this and t...

Re: Original Procat?
Nice Procat! Some did this chassis mod to the Procat and XLS saddle pack to lower the COG. This was of course not a theme as long as one drove the stick pack chassis. Looks like a mix of parts with transmission plates from XL/XLS, older screws etc. Procat rear wishbone bracket. The one way shafts (T...

Re: Cougar 2 works re re next?
I am curious to see how they handle the transmission. They might re-re the vaunted 23mm diff and original slipper, or they could just toss in the Pro transmission as part of the kit. Seems cheaper to just toss in the Pro. Schumacher re-re kits tend to be pretty true to the original, though. A case ...

Re: Cougar Classic Motor and ESC rec’s
I’m retired so I’m on a fixed income so I’m just going to have to try to make it as not ugly as I can possibly get.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 3:22 pm If you're willing to spend a little, you can ship it to an experienced painter. Schumacher XLS CAT T403 4.W.D. World Champion vintage replica kit
This appears to be an original IFMAR World Championship XLS CAT replica kit from Schumacher following their victory in 87. I took a chance at making this part of my collection. If any of you have come across such a kit let me know. I'm curious to know if they had one or many versions of their XLS CA...
