For this XX and XXT, I cut the sides of the tunnel to the length of the lipo, so the lipo sits flat and has an edge front and back to keep it from sliding. A carbon top brace squeezes it down and keeps it secure.

Plugging along. I'm using MIP aluminum front CVDs. Unfortunately the anodizing was so dark, they basically looked like steel. So I polished them up for some added bling.

I also reluctantly cut open my sealed package of Lunsford XX4 king pins. This was a very hard item for me to find.

Losi aluminum drives with the beautiful light colored anodizing. I am using Exotek 22-4 hubs. It took a lot of trial and error, but I got the parts to all work together. The drives spin very free with zero slop.

I assembled the shocks from this pile of new parts and used shocks. I'm using XXX threaded bodies with gold shafts. Internal limiters and springs. I may be changing the springs.

I'm using an R1 Wurks super stock esc. In the interest of space and cleanliness, I changed out the stock capacitor for a smaller unit. Electronics are in place. The end result looks pretty simple, but it took a lot of back and forth trying to get everything wired as clean as possible.

I'm currently waiting on a couple small pieces before I can finish the build.

^ RogueIV - Thanks. Cool looking brace you made. I have some carbon fiber 22-4 braces that I'm going to modify and try to make them work.

These are the Exotek 22-4 braces that I cut up to make work on the XX4. I still need to add some stops, and a few other small changes, but they already hold the batteries very secure. I removed the battery decals and wrapped them with faux carbon for looks and some protection.

I cut out and installed this Bittydesign wing. I also modified the stock wing mounts to accept wing washers and screws instead of body clips.

I also finished the rear swaybar links. Just waiting on my servo steering link to arrive.

JC Racing wheels and Schumacher rubber has been installed. Still working on the stance, and a few other things to come. Comments always welcome.
