Since I have been building my XX4 modern racer, I decided to try adding some period electronics to this one. I'm not going to solder anything in yet, but I think I like how it looks.

I've been after one of these NIB for years. Still factory sealed. It probably smells like 1996 inside!

R6 setup for just trackdays and the occasional rip out to the coast and back.

This is an incredible build and such a cool looking car. I love all the polished aluminum pieces. I know how much work goes into getting these results. Thanks for sharing.

I ordered some custom colored XX4 decals from MCI. There are some small printing mistakes, but otherwise I think they look great. The chrome doesn't show in the pictures too well.

I am still trying to decide on paint for this car.

Getting the front end started. I am using carbon fiber towers from a Super Athlete. Also using front and rear upgraded aluminum pivot blocks.

I was fortunate to find 2 pairs of new shocks in blue. I think they will fit well with the purple on the rest of the car.

I changed the rear arms back to graphite XX/XX4 arms.

I also installed a Rusti Designs rear pivot support. It is a nice piece made from thick carbon fiber and a printed piece. It's meant to prevent the pins from popping out during a crash.
