Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build

Wheels are mounted. I have the good fortune to have a new set of black & white Losi logo wheels. I love these wheels in white, however I have been wanting to use these black wheels/tires for a long time. After mounting them, I think some red logo wheels would be a great fit, lol. I did a quick p...

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build

The body I will be using is this Protoform 1503 "Ripper" It's specific to the SE. I like the look of the large central air scoops, especially the upper one. I think I will cut it out to make it functional. These Jammin wing cam locs are some uber rare pieces. I think they would be a great ...

Re: C&M Cobra Ground Effects

This may very well be the nicest looking pan car chassis I've ever seen. So glad you found one. Already an incredible build.

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build

Body is cut and fitted. The rear end is a very tight fit to the motor and spur. As soon as I can find my container with all my wings, everything can be prepped for paint and decals. Then it should just be a quick 10 year wait until I get it painted. :P

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE Racer build

I have been dragging my feet in getting this build done. Part of the reason has been the inability to find front TLR Gen 3 shocks. Every place has been out of stock for awhile. I guess all of the TLR resources are going into designing the 22 6.0. Fortunately I pieced everything together by usi...

Re: Your favorite ESC (with photo)

Thread Bump. This Traxxas XL-3 esc is one I searched for a long time. I love it for how it looks, and how rare they are.

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE Racer build

I liked this shot of the two chassis and their different steering setups.

I need to get this car built.

Re: Predictions for the RC hobby in 2035

Sort of like 1911Colt said, there is a fair chance all of my RC stuff will be dumped at the local Goodwill by my wife or kids after I kick the bucket. Somebody is going to end up with the RC score of a lifetime. :P

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE Racer build

Finally getting some work done on this car. The transmission is together using 64p Thorp internals for ultimate efficiency. I'm trying to use a modern TLR 22 slipper setup, but I'm having a hard time getting everything to work properly. I think I may need to find a longer slipper spring.

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE Racer build

Charlie - Good recommendation. I also like the idea of using a 4/40 screw straight into the threads of the top shaft. I got some work done. Arms and towers mounted. Factory Works supplied the towers as well as the front carbon brace for the hinge pins. I had wanted to use an RPM front bulkhead for t...

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE Racer build

Getting closer now. Got the spindles changed to buggy length. Also swapped the steering ballstud to the underside of the carbon steering rack.

All black titanium turnbuckles with RPM ends. Very thankful for JC Racing. They have made it so running and racing these vintage cars is so much easier.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I keep hearing great things about Fan RC, and I couldn't resist their blue edition kit. I'm adding in the forged carbon chassis and towers.

Fan RC FR-01 Worlds RC10 Blue kit

I recently bought and built this Fan RC FR-01 Blue Version kit. I added the Fan RC forged carbon chassis, towers, transmission brace, and battery brace. I also added a Jconcepts motor plate. Besides the above upgrades, I built the kit basically stock. I swapped just a few pieces of hardware for alum...
