Re: RC10 RPM Ultramold

I mounted these vintage aluminum wheels I've had. I forget who made them. T&A? I mounted TQ-20 tires in the rear. I decided to try these rare YokomoTF-250 front tires. They are half ribbed, but unlike the Proline Pro-105 tires, they are narrower and lower profile. I much prefer this look. I foun...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I won best RC at a local car show with my shelfer Hornet! I’ve been going through some custom R/C graphics I did in the past… That reminds me, I made a replica of the Losi LXT graphic used in the manual so it could be used on a decal and added it to MCI's catalog. LXT-2.png I've always loved that l...

Re: RC10 RPM Ultramold

Great idea MachV! Too bad I don't have any more vintage Andy's Pro Arrow bodies laying around as scrap.

Yes Thumb, that is what I'm working towards. Thanks!

Re: RC10 RPM Ultramold

Thanks RogueIV! I appreciate the help. Using the newer HPI wheels is tempting. However, since everything else on this build is vintage, I want to stay true to that.

I think I will find some rear tires for the rear 2.0 chrome HPI wheels I have. Then I may switch back to those wheels.

Re: Fan RC is up to something Big

Damn. If they build that, I will have to buy one. I'm helpless against the CC Worlds kits. I just love how they look. It would be fun to actually have one to run. Lavigna is talking about Composite Craft, not Clear Classic Worlds Kit. Yes. Good catch. I'm used to using CC for Composite Craft since ...

Re: Tell me again about how we cant afford to produce RC parts in the USA anymore...

More and more I look for the USA Made parts. MIP is truly cool for keeping operations here at home.

With the exception of the AE Kinwald kit, I've had no desire to buy any of the re-release kits from AE.

aren't they the same left and right
Yeah. They are!
That's what I was thinking. I thought I was losing it. :P

Thoughts on the Re-Release Movement in RC

We appear to be in the middle of a RC re-release boom. AE in particular is hitting it hard. They are currently releasing new re-release kits faster than I can keep track. They are making it super easy for anyone to buy that AE vehicle they owned, or dreamed of owning in their younger years. The inco...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I got this NIB 22 2.0 kit to go with my 22 1.0 kit. Not really vintage, but both are unique cars and hard to find NIB.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Thanks for looking out for the little guy. I raised an injured Kestrel to health as a kid. They are beautiful birds.
