i had some parts turn up last friday for my #2 shelf queen and done some work on the buggy today . had to do some . mod work . as the older trinity motor plate has only 2 holes in it for the older gear cover . so drilled and tapped the third hole to take the xxxcr gear cover . i did a ok job . allso...

I just aquired a new in box xx4. I believe it is a regular xx4 with the addition of a graphite chassis. Pics coming soon. My question is, should I build it for the shelf, run it, or just keep it NIB? By the way, this is not the rerelease, but an original.

yes that is a tough call. I myself would leave it in the box and aquire another to run if thats what your looking for.
