Re: Traxxas Bandit indoor clay race build
Added rear “Big Bore” Traxxas shocks with Associated green springs, and Yokomo YZ-2 front shocks with Associated white springs. Added a rear sway bar and a front wing. The sway bar mounts don’t look like they clear, but there’s like 1mm of clearance. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rctech.net-vbull...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Behold.... and now the Blue Eagle LS-II. Already having a Blue Eagle LS and SRT, I was done with a Traxxas collection, but this was just far too good of a deal to pass up. It's simply fantastic, and at a price just over what heaping piles go for, which makes me like even more. Resized_20240521_15204...

Re: RC10 Graphite Resto
Thanks! 8) The TQ10 I've also been assembling received the lone set of TQ wheels I had. In my search for another new or clean used set, I decided to take a look at some Imex dish wheels. I found a set of direct fit fronts, but had no luck finding direct fit rears. 20240330_165540.jpg The wheels are ...

Re: Kyosho SRT, or is it SRT Outrage?
I found the pièce de résistance. I think I found the only set of NOS roof lights on the interwebs and grabbed them, hopefully they don't get ripped off first run. Kinda sad really as someone probably needs them for a restoration.

Re: Kyosho SRT, or is it SRT Outrage?
I finally dyed the battery box and made some new low profile shock towers to fit the SRT body, so far so good. The front tower is 10mm shorter and the rear tower 18mm shorter while still retaining the stock shock angles. I just need to make the rear trans brace before I get back onto the chassis whi...

Re: RC10 Graphite Resto
Stock motor installed.
FanRC knockoffs replace locknuts.
TBG Protech 2.
Trimmed. Body sides are barely deep enough to cover the chassis.

Re: Plan B RC10T3 Race Truck
Shocks mounted and body cut out. The shocks are butter smooth with a touch of green slime and the big springs, Fabio can't believe it either. it's good to see it finally coming together. I've still got a few little bits coming to shave a few more grams off it. The rolling chassis will be over 100g l...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2024 ** - Winner - Frankentruck
Summer 1993. A Works91 in little used condition was for sale at the local hobby store where me and my best friend came regularly for a visit after school. Normally they sold Tamiya stuff only. From first view this Works impressed me like a spaceship. But unfortunatelly not my parents. Thinks got eve...

AND the XL-3!! I've said it before....add 1 to the previous 2 ever to be known to exist (to me, at least).

Re: Mugen Super Sport '92 buggy
The buggy is more or less completed at this point. As I only have a pair of side guards, and the muffler side needs trimming, not knowing if I would eventually change back to the conventional muffler position, I decided simply not to install the side guards for now. The body has been sent off for pa...
