Re: 1993 WCS ‘Faux-komo’ Repo 3d printed & Non-OEM Parts
More of a night of test fitting things but made some progress nonetheless, front and rear turnbuckle setups complete, top deck partially mounted, front diff upper assembly mounted (had to drill them out a bit using a 1/8 drill bit for the upper arm assemblies that the hinge pins would slot into (the...

Re: Tamiya Tyrrell P34 6-Wheeler - 1977 Argentine GP - 2022 Reissue
Tried my hardest on this one, this is the first driver I've done. Left the eyes flesh colored, can't see them without magnification anyways. https://i.imgur.com/KrIMzd5.jpg https://i.imgur.com/GvMadY0.jpg https://i.imgur.com/KeCYTRr.jpg This was also the first time that I used warm water and a small...

My First Traxxas Blue Eagle Restoration Project
Im definitely Team Tamiya but traxxas had some beautiful stadium trucks. I dont like traxxas new builds even tho I hear they are very tough and have great quality parts but to me they lack the style of their older models so when I saw the traxxas hawk and eagle in a old magazine I just had to have o...

Re: Tamiya Tyrrell P34 6-Wheeler - 1977 Argentine GP - 2022 Reissue
Was able to get the upper body smoothed out and painted. I learned a lot on this model, really glad to know how to recover from mistakes, and this one was one mistake after another, in prep, and paint. https://i.imgur.com/OUm53iI.jpg https://i.imgur.com/7cana6r.jpg https://i.imgur.com/lur1aa7.jpg ht...

Re: Traxxas Bullet Refresh
Well I think I got it wired correctly. If/when I put power on it, we'll see. :D IMO, looks so much better without the brick there! The body and roll cage are probably going to end up being future projects, so it will probably be sitting like this for a while, which I am perfectly fine with. As with ...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
Found recently a video that caught me curious... hLqSaEiXzIU It's not yet on the market, it's small build volume, it's pricey, but SLS to that price it is still highly interesting and would give many possibilities... And if this works as advertised, it may just disrupt the market like the Bambu Lab ...

Re: The dog thread
I'm shocked that they haven't adapted to running on beer   I was dog sitting for a friend a few months back, Sammy looks like a lab in a corgi body. At any rate, I was giving his owner poop and staged empty beer bottles in and around Sammy's kennel, took pix, then texted said owner to...

Greetings from Mass, USA
Hi RC people. Got back into RC this past year after about 40 years as my kids are about the age I was when I convinced my parents to buy me a used Hornet, which was my pride and joy. This past year I got Grasshopper->Hornet->Frog->TT02-BR->XV-01. Obviously I have a soft spot for Tamiya. RC10 was alw...
