Re: Again another Marui project : Super Wheelie and Big Bear!
Very cool , I haven't thought about Barbapapa or Barbamama in decades :D I thought it was definitely suitable for some vintage RC, just like the Mistery machine is also very suitable for a Lunchbox :-) (be carefull, next image may reignite some chidhood memories)... https://i.imgur.com/7JgCrAF.jpg

Re: Again another Marui project : Super Wheelie and Big Bear!
One of the Big Bear bodies I have had an awfully thick paint on top of it. It seemed thick and quite solid... I put it for 48 hours in the magic sauce bath (aka Glanzer, see my Ninja and Shogun thread)... After about 6 hours, bubbles started to appear, so there was a good chance the paint can be rem...

And sometime later...

Then later again... I used Metallic blue (TS-19)

I'll let that cure for 24 hours at least before going for the details...

Re: Again another Marui project : Super Wheelie and Big Bear!
While I was printing the masks for the Mitsubishi and the Big Bear body is curing, I've done some work on the CJ-7 dashboard, with some masking for the brown part and with some paint markers for the rest... It's difficult to get it right are marking are very small... https://i.imgur.com/LUhJFHM.jpeg...

Re: Again another Marui project : Super Wheelie and Big Bear!
The work continues... Details added to the Mitsubishi at front and rear end... https://i.imgur.com/xq0cXqG.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/Ue8G5st.jpeg The plan is to let this cure, apply the stickers and then the clear coat... While it cures, I moved a bit on the CJ-7... I applied details here and there e...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
This formed from a swarm of bees within 3 minutes. After 10 minutes it is about 2 feet long. The local apiculture extension is coming in the hour to rehome them.

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
I tend to procrastinate a lot when it comes to resin printing... The process is so cumbersome any reason to delay a print is a good reason... I delayed so much that I can just throw an ABS like resin bottle away. I was about to launch some prints today. I shaked the bottle quite for a few minutes, a...

Hello all! I just finished up a 40th anniversary RC10 classic build and wanted to show the results. I have some modern electronics in it (Quicrun 10BL120 G2 & 3652SL G2) and decided to go with the gunmetal grey color I have used on a few recent builds. My original RC10 from the late 80's was don...
