Be careful with the hot glue, it could melt those printed parts.
I'd probably use Shoe Goo or Mod Podge. Both dry clear (Mod Podge dries crystal clear) and I'm pretty sure they will accept paint but you might want to test them with your paint.

Re: MIP 4-10 rumor #63, this time maybe it's real?
I had to stop watching quite a while back as he doesn't seem to care about facts, just clicks. He was corrected on FB when he dropped the link to his YT but I think he likes the fact that news doesn't have to be factual it just needs to be reported lol. Like the CNN and MSNBC of the RC world. Repor...

Re: If I was in charge
I'd like to see them list a genuine AE-stamped buggy nose plate in black anno.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Finished an RC4WD Trail Finder 2 build that I started about a dozen years ago. P1010078.JPG P1010076.JPG My first two TF2's were on leafs so I have this one on coils. P1010071.JPG Looking for a nice 22R and accessories to print and complete the engine bay. P1010081.JPG Anyway, I'm on to the next pro...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood
I've used bare metal foil many times on my RC projects -- most recently on the Sand Scorcher body. Like TRX-1-3 has mentioned, it's important to use a very sharp (new) knife blade for all your cuts. Anything less and the foil will catch, wrinkle and rip. Also, the adhesive isn't very strong so it's ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Not exactly RC related but.... With severe storms in the forecast Saturday evening, I ventured out in the rain to retract the awning on the RV and , of course, it wouldn't work; just clicks, lights dim but no movement. Today, I was able to verify that the motor is dead, located the manufacturer's in...

Re: Rc10 Sprints...what do I have here?
I raced a BBT a few times bitd. Racing RC sprint cars was tremendous fun but eventually I sold that car and very much regret it. The aluminum parts were polished with a red body and wing and chrome wheels. My dad loved that car and I should have given it to him. :( Anyway, I got an Ascot kit in a tr...

Re: The next rere... a GT?!!
I reckon if you're interested in building a mid-motor electric stadium truck, then this release is for you. However, from the video, it seems that AE wants to help racers revive vintage nitro truck racing. If AE is serious, they really should do what they can to help customers source reasonably pric...

Re: Laser cut metal gears?
Sendcutsend is a laser or water jet cut on a flat metal, not printed. I was just showing a printed steel gear I had made is all most internal cut gears I've seen have a back face behind the teeth that just cant be done by water jet , unless its just a ring gear :?: Thanks! You're right about that. ...

Re: Laser cut metal gears?
IIRC Send Cut Send recommends router cutting for gears as it's more precise and leaves a better finish. Then there's the $35 minimum order. Could have it made out of plastic since a dozen will cost as much as one... spares for a lifetime. Yeah, they can use water jet as well - depending on ma...

Re: 2025 - Masami joins AE product development
I'm sure Curtis and company have a vast collection of AE prototypes, extremely rare early production cars etc. I find it interesting that particular car is seen with a group of recent re-releases. Hopefully, they're at least considering it in light of Masami coming aboard. When we look back at every...

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
By chance, have you considered printing shock bodies and caps using green PLA? Maybe to use as place holders until something better comes along?? Not that the gold/orange anno or polished aluminum shocks would look bad. Another option might be to strip and polish followed by transparent green...

Re: RC10 (DS-wide)
Beautiful!
There's something about gold anno and ivory that's so timeless and, well, beautiful.
Who's C4 body is that?
