Re: 2014 Kyosho Beetle
Got the 12mm hex spacers and drilled one out to fit the axle. https://i.imgur.com/7pxXHkA.jpg Leaves a large gap where the bearing can float out of the trailing arm. https://i.imgur.com/kemDcGO.jpg Realized that I was overthinking this, and put the original Beetle friction drive back on, offset and ...

Re: Tamiya Sand Scorcher - 2010 Reissue
Got three coats of primer on

I need to fix some spots, now that I can see them better.
What is the final grit you guys sand your primer to, before paint?

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
The 40th and it's nylon has a better chance of being a durable runner that the CC. The clear plastic parts in the CC just feel brittle. I completely agree. :D But I would say that ~5% of 40th buyers will actually run them. Most will be like that commemorative plate that your grandma bought from Hom...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
My son and I did some monster trucking this evening. He had the Clod and I had the Mystery Machine. The Clod is a pretty intimidating beast when it comes charging your way! 😂 I did my best not to let the Lunch Box get bullied, but he definitely owned the 2-way ramp in the driveway and the grass arou...

Re: Tamiya Sand Scorcher - 2010 Reissue
Really appreciate your input, guys, thanks! I'll go over the bad spots in 1000 grit with water, and then finish up with 1500 or above, wet. Wasn't sure if I could do that, this is the first time I've painted with primer. https://i.imgur.com/ZRXi1rD.jpg https://i.imgur.com/vgxdAL0.jpg https://i.imgur...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Today, for the first time in years, I pulled the B3 off the shelf, blew the dust off, fitted some electronics (Reedy 3300kV, Reedy SC600BL, XP servo, Futaba clone Rx), and drove it around the track for a few laps. What a car! That's a good looking B3! Around the track? Like your own personal at hom...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
At least your B3 has a normal rear wing. The previous owner of my B2 must have felt like you can never have too big of a wing.
I need to trim it down a bit, but that hasn't been a priority.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I don't know anything about what model body shell it is or who painted it. The painter was definitely skilled, but should have immediately objected to this huge wing and refused to paint it. I picked up this B2 because I figured they might get harder to find in the future and it was a reasonab...

Re: Printed gears question
Thanks Doug
It appears that to find any Google reference to the gear and find their site you must add "acetal" in the search terms.
And RWR doesn't use Kyosho's part #?
Anyways to beat that, shipping was 6 quid!
