Hen's teeth are a piece of piss comparitively. You've got a job on with that one... May be better to sell as spares when you find out what it is. I like a rescue challenge but WOW

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2021 ** - Winner - coxbros1
Optima clone Great Vigor Beagle after a complete stripdown rebuild. No one likes the original body and the one on this was knackered so rather than a pretentious kyosho body might as well go for summat completely different. Buggy special brown dot motor. 2.4 Rx and ESC , running condition. Hi-tech q...

Re: Radio opinions
I got FS gt2e which binds with at least 4 fsa3 receivers. Cheap and works. There's an FS A2 tx but takes a lipo battery which seems to be more expensive than the tx it powers so sticking with the AA battery option.

Steering servo with a plug I hadn't seen before.

Re: Hirobo Zerda: from wreck to runner
Shocks cleaned and fitted, not tested for oil seal which is a zerda weakness, still 'first fix' with alien mid deck and kyosho tomohawk driver (dadio's tip). Undecided to go with old or new electronics. Acoms or flysky Just to be a runner Waiting for drive cups for 4wd Thinking of just a bit of grea...

Re: Hirobo Zerda: from wreck to runner
Ct-60 gear box cover, £30 from a US seller. I don't think so, I found a square black plastic flower pot in the shed that'll make bundles.

Re: Hirobo Zerda: from wreck to runner
New cups are a bit longer than zerda parts but fit ok, maybe about 1mm could be ground off the new cups if necessary and 61mm bones seem the norm on the front.

A tough decision, I love a good bodge of parts by juiced. But dadio's patience in waiting for 3d printers to produce etc deserves recognition.
